The Recessed Light Housing is crafted from silver finished metal. Installed inside the ceiling it acts as the mounting and wiring enclosure for the recessed fixture, holding the socket/LED connection, protecting the electrical wiring and providing a stable base for the trim or downlight you see from the room. It measures approximately 5.5" in diameter and 7.5" high.
